Hip Hop
by
Hip Hop Commercial
Commercial dance classes can include various dance styles such as hip hop, jazz, and modern dance. These classes often focus on performance and energetic choreography, usually performed to popular music (pop/charts).
As a result, commercial hip hop classes include urban dances.
Urban Contemporary
Urban Contemporary is a modern dance style that combines elements of contemporary dance with different forms of urban dance such as:
hip hop, house, popping & locking, street dance, krumping...
This style is expressive, dynamic and emotional. Dancers use movements from everyday life, combine them with fluid, sometimes angular movements from contemporary dance and mix them with the energy of urban dance styles.
Street jazz/jazz-funk:
This is also a style that originated in the dance industry. Based on jazz dance, elements of street dance have been added over time to meet the demands of the music industry and its stars. This has given rise to a hybrid between jazz and hip-hop. Street jazz is now very popular and an integral part of the commercial dance industry. In this class, the motto is ‘Just Dance’!
